Excellent 1969 Interview that was sent out to Radio Stations to promote Captain Beefheart and the soon to be released ablum TROUT MASK REPLICA. This Promo LP was never sold or commercially available. I would doubt that many stations even played it. It is said a longer version from the original tape source exists. Many famous Captain Beefheart quotes can be heard here. This is one of the more interesting interviews. A wide range of topics are covered. I found this spread across a couple of tapes, that's why the tracks are split up. The sound is excellent. Enjoy.
